Leigh Cavalier has been making photographs since 1995. She has captured everything in her client’s lives from pregnancies and births, to quite literally getting their last rites and everything in between. Her philosophy is that life and people are naturally beautiful when they are being themselves in the everyday moments of their lives, and that we all should have a visual legacy to hand down to the next generation. She is an artist who’s style is all about allowing people and animals to be themselves in their environment, in the moment and using natural light.

Leigh has shared her love of photography over the last 22 years with children as young as 6 to adults in their 90's. She is currently teaching at Sonoma Community Center in Sonoma, please check their website for more information. She also teaches privately online for those who want to thouroughly understand their camera, improve their photography skills and strengthen the way they see, for more information contact Leigh via phone, text or email which can be found on the contact page.

She lives in Sonoma, California with her husband John of 27 years, is mother of three grown kids and a little but feisty dog named Rosie. At the beginning of 2017 Leigh, her husband John and Rosie will be embarking on a year long adventure traveling across the Mediterranean Sea. She plans to journal as the trip unfolds and making photographs all along the way. Her Fine Art prints will be available for purchase on the site Society6.
